Rustpaw trotted over to Flamepaw "what is it?"

Flamepaw looked at him and mewed, “Want to go hunting? I’m antsy with Lunaclaw away.”

"Sure!" said Rustpaw happy to have an excuse to get out of stuffy camp.

Flamepaw stood up and walked out next to him. “Any ideas where to find prey?”

"Well, on the south side of camp there are tons of mice near the old twoleg den." suggested Rustpaw.

“Oh yeah! Where Silvernight found all those chickens, lets try there. This should be fun.”

The late morning breeze buffeted Rustpaw's fur as the two apprentices set out for the barn.

“We should watch out for dogs or foxes. They might stay here now.” She sniffed the air and countinued walking.

Rustpaw paused when they got to the barn. He could smell something he wasn't sure what it was. Then finally he got it. There were rats here.
"We should leave," he said to Flamepaw "I smell rats," there was a hint of worry in his voice.

Flamepaw nodded, “We could go fetch some warriors and see if they can help us hunt some.”
