Nightpaw rolled her eyes. "Well, it would make sense, seeing as my mentor didn't teach me much." She stood up and stretched, ignoring the burning pain in her bloody paw. "What I would prefer is to have a mentor." She said dryly, eyeing the tom. "But I suppose I could train with you and Silverwing for now."
Fluffypaw nodded, his heart beating. “Lunaclaw was my mentor. Silverwing could train us for now.”
Nightpaw watched him curiously. "Where are you going?" She meowed. She hesitated, realizing that Rainshadow wasn't here. She took a step forward with her good paw, then started limping after Fluffypaw slowly, as if she was only following him because she had nothing better to do.
"Going to yell at Icepaw for attacking you..."
Nightpaw blinked, surprised. "You don't need to. I can take care of myself." She said defensively, though there wasn't the usual edge of aggression in her voice. Why's he trying to stand up for me? We aren't exactly friends..
"Does it look okay?" She meowed sarcastically, dangling the paw at him. "Honeycloud? I haven't seen her. Maybe she's out hunting."
"Maybe she is and it's not because I'm protecting you. He broke the code! that's not good, no matter the circumstance. I want to talk to him."
Nightpaw flicked her tail. "Fine. But I'm coming too." She said, spotting Icepaw and limping towards him.
Fluffypaw nodded and walked over to Icepaw.
