I've tried every room in the house. Right now she is only drinking inside when prompted. So making the water taste better didnt even help. Everytime we go outside she will drink a lot of water. I reward her and then move the bowl closer to the door. We are currently on the top stair about 5 feet from the door

Btw, the cat said the water tastes great. Caught her drinking out of it

I have been very gradually moving the water bowl closer to the door. Everytime she drinks from it I'm clicking and then giving a treat before moving the bowl. Just now the bowl was right next to the door. When she drank from it I clicked, gave a treat, then opened the door and put the bowl inside. She stood outside...but she drank from it! I clicked and gave her a treat. When we walked inside I shut the door and went into our kitchen and turned around because she wasnt following me. She was drinking the water! I clicked and gave her a treat again. I'm gonna continue gradually moving it until it is where I want it but she is drinking in the house! Hopefully she continues this but I'm unsure.

This reminds me of a dog I had that would only drink out of a certain bowl outside.
She would ask to go out to drink despite other water bowl inside,
one that she would use during the day when I was gone.
It was kinda funny.
I still have that bowl, 1 quart stn stl that got smashed by the van but still holds water.

No, she's been gone for a good 10 years now....
...she did not get smashed by the van, just the bowl.

Dam was pure GS, sire was cross of Chow and St. Bernard.
Her name as Maggie, short for Gorgeous the Magnificent

She was quite beautifulshe probably got her coloring from her father and the build from mom. Duchess looks just like that except shes got a border collie snout and coloring. We thought blue heeler because of the ears
