Also I just cried again after going to the restroom. They sure taste great though. I am starting to think I cry too much for a grown man.

Regardless, these Fajita/tacos do rock down here just don't plan on being comfortable after eating one! I can't even imagine how I could cowboy on sitting on a horse after eating one.

I am crazy for the HEB(grocery chain) black pepper. My wife is in Germany now and packed around 5 of those in her checked luggage for family as they make us bring it every time.

I do wonder if it sets off drug dogs as I remember a scene from "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" where they used that to throw dogs off their scent.

I don't really get the nazi-gold thing or the whole nazi thing since you seem to be talkin about taco's? Is it an inside American joke I don't get? Is this even about your wife having ww2 ancestors or an issue that has nothing to do with your wife's family but more how they are unkind to you?

My family is really burdend with ww2. And I am still. One side was jewish and saw it coming; they told people they were Christian arouns 1890. During the war they smuggled stuff for other Jewish people; how noble! Nope. they became rich by it. They didn't help Jews to survive... they saw a chance to make money of already vulnerable people. They are bad people. Jewish, Christian, or whatever. Whatever their religion they are they say they are; they like to make profit of a dead mans body.
The other side were forced into duty. To fight ww2. My grandmother was forced to be a nurse at 16 and my grandfather to be in the military at age 17. That is how they met. They were lucky to be located in a place where nothing happened. They still say to this day that ww2 was a wonderfull time and nothing happened and people who say so are just attention seeking badwords.

I am the child somehow of these worlds.

Please tell me how your sitiuation is caused by your wife having 'ww2' family. But this time for real. You are not a part of this. So you probably have a hard time dealing with a person with PTSS due to these kind of parents. Or the family of your wife might just be doodoo. Tell me that. Tell me how these people are unkind to you. STOP finding a reason for THEM to treat you and/or you wife as rubbish. Treating people like rubbish is a choice. Whatever happened to them or their parents. There is no excuse to treat people that way because you are hurt by others.

I hope you will become the best and happy person you can be.

Please let me apologize because this was not meant to offend.... part of it is the differences in humor in different cultures, and we as Americans don't as a whole necessarily support this kind of humor (it is used some to point out absurdities).

I took no offence to the prior poster in the least. Times change and things stay the same as history continues to repeat itself. There are still crappy people taking advantage of the little people for personal self enrichment(payday lenders come to mind). For a German to buy a Jeep Wrangler or a Hummer is a sign of wealth. For an American not so much. They look down on us for owning a tiny acreage to raise chicken(something their parents had them doing in childhood) so we look like starving simpletons to them now. We are reluctant to post them picks of the Jeep we just bought this week after being accused this last time of "just showing off", and was even exacerbated by my discussing Kat's accident when an older Dodge 1500 Crew Cab made a right from the left lane in front of us and absolutely got eaten by our Wrangler. We were unable to find a scratch on our car and this sweet man driving it(must have been in his late 70's) didn't want to involve the police. Regardless, telling that story in the family forum on Whatsapp was even more "bragging" I don't get them because my wife had so much anxiety that she had hurt our new car. We have since left that Family Forum as it was only good as a means of introducing needless stress in our lives.

One final point I'd like to make is I believe her parent's earned their money fairly, her father was a highly in demand Metallurgical Engineer who would take working vacations here in the States frequently, Porsche seemed to have him on speed dial, however he was sent to live in the country during WWII(as were all the wealthy family children). Her mom left Eastern Germany in the mass exodus before the wall went up, but just inherited 40 hectares in Magdeburg north of BER. I just know my children do not have the same educational opportunities I had and the environment my parents grew up in had even more opportunities(get a degree and there was a real paying job waiting on you).
