I really need help

So my mallard died yesterday due to something breaking into the pen and now my cayuga is very sad and we are trying to get more friends for her ,shes is almost a year old, and i found 2 pekins that need a new home that are 5 and 6 months old i heard its good to find some around the same age but they are male and female would they just bully her or do u think they would be fine?

I would set up a meet and greet pen so they can see each other but have limited physical contact. They might fight a bit to establish pecking order, but eventually they should be able to get along. Just give them time with a meet and greet pen.

If the same age you can release as they free range to introduce them quicker. I never worry and they always figure it out..

Yeah I’ve introduced two new girls to my bonded male/female pair. Might take some time and patience but eventually they should be fine. Hopefully you found and fixed the weak spot in their pen so you don’t lose anymore ducks. So so sorry about your mallard
