I really wish I had a broody hen...

DBF swears that if our cochin ever goes broody - our BANTY cochin - that he's going to stuff a puppy under her and make her raise the dog.

My parents Aussie LOVES chickens. When you let babies near her she smells them, and sometimes tries to herd them! I've seen curious chicks peck her nose, and near her eyes, and she does nothing. She doesn't care for ducks, but that's 'cause we have a drake that attacks her. She has never hurt, or even tried to hurt any of our pets, including cats, chickens, and ducks. She does hate other dogs, and possums, coons, and deer. She's a great dog. Can't take the credit, though, since she was fully grown when we got her.
