I was in Phoenix,,,just got my son off to school. I had the morning news on in the living room. I had went in to the bathroom when I heard the breaking story. A plane had hit the first tower. I came out, in shock at what I was seeing on T.V. I picked up the phone to call my now husband, in Ireland. He was at work. I was telling him what I was seeing live and what they were reporting. I also saw the second plane fly over the head of the man doing his report. The feeling I had when I saw it hit, I can't even describe. I went quiet on the phone. My then boy friend was asking all kinds of questions. I don't remember anything he said. All I could do is sit and cry. So helpless, so heart broke. Even though I sat 2000 miles away from the sight of impact, I could feel everything. My thoughts and prayers are going out for the people who had to go through that terrible day. To all the brave fire fighters, policemen and women, and the rescue workers. Also the brave people who just helped out off the street, who got involved to help their fellow man. Prayers and Warm thoughts on this day. You are all Remembered.
