First of all, I am so happy for all that are having successful hatches. I have had very poor ones and it is not much fun.

We have 8 out

1 should be out any minute - all zipped.

Hope the pics work. I'm not very computer savy. I hatched 15 mixed bantam cochins. I had 5 hens go broody, so I brought 2 of them up to the brooder in the garage, and exchanged eggs for chicks after they were asleep, or so I thought. After about 2 minutes, the ladies took right to them, and are being excellent mama's.

yeah 4 are out .. My B/O good size holes but they seem to have taken a back seat to getting any further. Still have three eggs with no sign of life.

Nothing so far with me. Today is hatch day..but I'm not very optimistic that anything will happen. I had a temp spike of 109..I think it did them in. I'll start another hatch next week.

was home sick on friday, they started pipping!!!!!!!!!! (again my computer at home will not let me log on) anyways, I know am the proud mother of 4 welsummer babies and 3 light sussex babies!!!!!

Had some temperature issues that I need to work on for next time!

Set on the 27th - we have 12 out of 32 out. They all hatched from Friday am to Saturday afternoon. How long do you all give the remaining eggs to hatch? My son just won a dozen bantam Rock or bantam Wyandotte eggs from a poultry school event today. UGH! Thought I was done hatching for the season - they are free though. We have 4 brooders set up now.
