finally one pip!

well, we lost one, little guy just couldn't get out he was the first to pip, the second to pip hatched and is running all over the incubator knocking the rest of the eggs around, and seven more piped this afternoon.....

I think the end is the worst time to loose one because they made it so far, I always wonder what went wrong.

three out so far, one looks very weak, not sure it will make it. Its so hard not to open that darn lid!!!!!

day 12 for me and nothing !

No pips, zips, NOTHING !

Not giving up all hope yet............but very discouraged!!!

Maybe when I get home from work there will be some sign of life in those eggs!!

there were three hatched two in the middle of the night, and one just an hour ago. three more on their way too. amazing that these eggs get so knocked around and can still hatch. these chickens are CRAZY.

i thought when chickens hatch they take a nap? these things are running, FULL blast, banging into the rest of the eggs. all i can think is that it's helping the eggs lol. i have the brooder set up, but i really don't want to open that incubator! they seem to be encouraging their almost out of the shell kin.....the only one that gets to enjoy freedom is the first one out, after that, it's chaos. how FUNNY.

Got my first pip this morning, or atleast it was there when I woke up!!!!
