I set my eggs on march 26th. Want to be hatching buddies?

I did put mine in egg cartons for lockdown...I guess I just think if they were in the turner on end then maybe being on end would be best for hatching...Who knows for sure...This is only my 3rd hatch and I am still learning...

okay, so it's day 21 lots of movement, no pips YET. i am starting to feel nervous, i laid mine on their sides, temp is steady, humidity is 68%, hope we get some pips soon. i'm wondering if i was a day early or maybe i had the temp too low when i first started....because everything else seems to be okay. *sigh* my husband wants to go fishing, but i can't stand to leave....do they have poultry Anonymous LOL

I'll probably lock down before bed tonight, or first thing tomorrow morning. I removed three more last night so I am down to 19. Can't wait

don't feel bad, I'm on day 21 today and there is nothing! I think my incubator must have been running cooler than usual. In the past I had chicks hatching on day 19 and 20.

come on chickies!!! at least start wiggling

Lockdown this am - if hatching in cartons do you trim the carton at all?

good morning! here is my report, 1 pip last night around 1030pm i heard a loud peep peep, then a hole! that made me feel so much better. that little chick is working hard to get out, woke up to another squeaker and looked, there are two pips, the others are still wiggling so i'm not giving up hope yet

day 22 so maybe i was a day off, or running cooler than i thought...? good luck to everyone

Well, I cut the bottom off a little for air flow - we'll see how it goes.
