Great job on the coop, are your ducklings females by the way?
The reason I ask is if one of them is a drake beware when it gets older that it doesn't mate with the chickens, not wanting to alarm you but drakes can kill a chicken hen when mating, best to know now rather than later.

I sure hope all my birds are hen's...
I only wanted 2 ducks but the farm I got them request 3 ducks per shipment.
I was looking for pureed breeds. Now I will be extending the run soon or rehoming one.
My wife said no way we are giving one up.

My granddaughters wanted to make it into a play house. .
I used to help build custom homes for 20 years .
That's why I went way over budget..
I'll post more pictures later. My door going into the run has redwood going in four different directions .

Hello Steven and welcome to BYC! This is the best place to learn and share your adventures with chickens and other backyard critters. Your coop looks good. Do you have a separate coop for your ducks? We love pictures of your flock.

No... I'm planning on going over budget and building them a redwood duck house... it will be simple but cute...I think!!!!

Welcome to BYC. Hopefully that's a really big coop. You sound like a candidate for chicken math.

Lol..... I did use chicken math....our plans where for 4 chickens...12'x16' run with a duck house for 2 ducks.
My nesting boxes are outside the coop for easy access and getting me more space.
Unfortunately the farm I ordered my chick's and ducklings from wouldn't ship just two ducklings.
That a hold different thread. What a stressful day and process it turned out to be.
And now my back is out keeping me from getting the finishing touches on the coop, the second half of the run and the duck house.
