I used spiral tent stakes to keep my attached run/coop from flying away in wind storms, but they can also keep critters from knocking it over.
good idea!!!
i put my old polytunnel frame back together and it should fit very tightly in that space. i'll cover it with wire mesh. at least the front for now and put a tarp or something on the top until i can get more mesh. i'll still lock up the run and the coop. but this way he won't get close enough to even check it out

Hello!
I just read this WHOLE entire thread for like an hour! LOL!
If you want another chicken, you can, if I remember correctly sign up for a chicken for free on Backyard Chickens.
If you want to hatch some chickens, like someone else said, there is a 50% chance that they will be Roos, with my experience with roos you just have to hold them a TON and give them TONS of kisses, 😊 FROM DAY ONE OF LIFE. Please don't forget to hold them from day one, also try to not ware boots or something with him because my past rooster, hated my boots and would attack them. LOL! Also, roosters are real gentlemen to you and to your ladies.... that is if you train them to be good. LOL

Keep it up! I have once had a broody hen, she was the best girl, and she gave me, out of 11 eggs 5 babies, 3 girls and 2 boys. Sadly, since we couldn't keep 5 little roo roos, we had to put them down. We had one good boy, one GERK and 2 little boys who I never learned their pernality.😭

You are doing great with your ladies.... sorry, I forgot their names. 😊
