i somehow acquired 2 runaways and i have questions. please help

Oh they can smell it, and come running! Someone mentioned tossing the chicken or turkey carcass out to them to watch the antics, but I don’t want my knuckleheaded dogs to get it.

that’s nuts that they like that. my son was appalled that i gave them a scrambled egg!

Yep, pecking order can change. My 2 Buff Orpingtons are currently in a pissing match about who’s Top Dog. It was Buttercup until she got sick in December, then Sunny took over. Now Buttercup the diva wants her crown back!

ohwow! i didn’t expect that! i hope buttercup is better now! the divaness kills me! i’m always asking louise “why do you have to be such a B?” there’s no need! lol!

thelma is so tiny and i was so proud of her for sticking up for herself with her little chest all pushed out. like “bring it on, louise!”

Funny. Chickens are not for the squeamish. You should see them devour a nest of baby mice. Treat them like popcorn. I do deep litter in my run and I am always coming across random bones in there. Some I recognize as turkey, lamb, oxtail etc. But some others I have no idea where they came from!

when we moved into this house and i first started the garden, i kept finding animal teeth in the ground! i was asking all the neighbours if they ever found animal teeth in their garden and i’m pretty sure they thought i was insane. but i found hundreds of them! i still don’t know why they were there! not exactly the same thing, but it reminded me.

the new greenhouse is almost ready and i was gonna use these pots in it.
i don’t think they are my pots anymore, though.
