Great place, you worked really hard!

Only thing I don't see is proper ventilation in the coop.
You could just cover the door frame in hardware cloth or switch the triangle wood part of the back wall to hardware cloth to allow for proper ventilation.

thank you so much! i haven’t gotten to the coop yet, but i will! i have loads of extra building supplies now. i just need to catch my breath thank you for the suggestions! i will definitely add more ventilation!

(also, they do not poop in the coop. i know. they are weird. so there is no ammonia smell going on. or any smell, or dampness really. i know it still needs more ventilation but i thought that was less of an emergency than them having a safe space to be! i’ll get there.)

you could be right!!!
that railing thing (with the artichoke on the end) makes an L shape around the raised beds. i always wondered why don't they go up there? it's like a perfect chicken spot. but they never do. until today. louise was feeling a little feisty and jumped up there. i think thelma was trying to one up her. but then realized that she was pretty high. lol! i don't know what goes on in their little heads!

did yours eventually stop roofing it?
