I am so envious!in other news, my new greenhouse is fab! and everything is growing! first signs of tomatoes and actual peppers. (if any of you are partial to gardening)

Cook everything very short/al dente. Except the icecream.
Defrost while you cook.
Put the cooked ‘whatever’ back into the freezer. If you need something its almost ready to serve.

Chest freezers hold the cold well. Likely only the top layer is an issue.between them and the husband, they give me more jobs!!! no help at all.
this morning i discovered our little chest freezer in the shed was left wide open last night from my husband searching for ice cream.
i don't even know what to do about that! i have to throw everything away and defrost? cook everything right now?
nobody has prepared me for any of these creatures
