i somehow acquired 2 runaways and i have questions. please help

Many of us develop tricks to ensure fair sharing of treats. I use the two-handed closed fist approach (one hand in front of me and one behind).
I find also that rapidly tossing treats over a wide area means they are too busy chasing after the latest windfall to notice that the smaller ones are calmly cleaning up behind them.
Yes! That’s a good one.

Ravioli knows to come back into the coop after I throw scratch every morning bc she doesn’t get much out in the run. The others chase her away. In the coop I’ll give her her own scratch.

My brother chicken-sat once for us and was so confused on why she came up to him in the coop rambling endlessly and following him while he did the other chores in the coop. He said “I have no idea what she wanted, but she wouldn’t stop chattering to me” I guess I forgot to tell him she needs her own scratch. Sorry Rav!

I’ve had a similar experience. Search “Red Solo Cup” 🙂
