got the new feeder! i will tell you tomorrow if it opens in time. though that depends a lot on whether i set it right.
i put the feed in, and you can't see the feeder, really here, but this is exactly what i meant about louise sending thelma in first to see what happens

also! it fits under the coop with the lids open!

it didn't open.
but i think i turned the timer the wrong way.
it doesn't say anything on the instructions, but i just found a video from the manufacturer and he turned it the other way than what i did. it seemed hard to turn that way, like i would break it. that's why i turned it how i did.
so i'll try again for tonight.

also! what was not in the instructions, but he said on the video... there's a clip inside. underneath the bowls. that you can somehow link the two lids together. but he doesn't show you how. but that would be handy. he said in case one of the timers is just a mm off from the other, they will both open anyway. i will try to figure that out too.

just in case anyone gets one of those feeders.

Yeah, it’s a nuisance products often come with lousy instructions.
Hope you get it working as it should tomorrow. On the video its seems easy if you set the timers separately.

or if you turn the timers the right way!
also. the mouse was there at 3am. lookit him sitting in the track of the door! that track is only like 1cm wide. i checked all around. i don't think he can get inside the coop. just inside the track. the door blocks the track where the opening is pretty tight.
