i somehow acquired 2 runaways and i have questions. please help

Both leaves and flowers are edible. Use in salads or as garnish. You can also cook it like spinach.
I vaguely remember my mother once making borage soup with sour cream maybe?
Borage is the classic garnish in Pimms - though now largely replaced by mint.
i didn't know that about the pimms!
the leaves don't look particularly inviting with all the spiky bits, but people eat nettles too and somehow survive to tell the tale. lol! if you've ever gotten stung by a nettle.REALLY stung. you probably wouldn't think about eating them. but maybe that's just me 😂

i'd try the borage though. it hasn't done me harm like the nettles.

She looks like she’s avoiding being picked on by Louise. Are they having little tifs? Is something else spooking her maybe?
there were a lot of crows, but they are always here. do you think because she's not out enough, she's getting... chicken? louise wasn't doing anything. just standing around.

also! louise isn't doing anything but then thelma will wig out like that and run up to louise and they stick their chests out for a second, but then they just walk away. lol! nutters.

here's another one. weirdo.
I saw shadows from the (?)crows flying overhead. My guess is that she’s seeing them and responding instinctively to an overhead threat, without taking time to process “Oh, it’s just crows flying lower than usual.”

We have crows, too (thank goodness, because they go nuts if they see a hawk), but they usually fly pretty high; too high to cast a shadow. But if a mockingbird or cardinal flies over low: chaos!

Edit to add: the crows in our neighborhood serve the role of sentinels, along with pooping on cars. I’ve seen our chickens freeze and look around overhead if the crows suddenly start cawing.
