I'm so tired of paying $10 a week for frozen pinkies to feed my geckoes, so I've started a mouse project!
-cute little mousie cage: $10
-water bottle: $2
-shavings: already had them
-food: chicken food and kitchen scraps
-the mice: $5
Total expense: $17! Yay!
So my only concern is that the mouse I have is from a pet shop and I'm concerned about his health. I won't get a female until the order comes in next Tuesday, so for now he's a lone bachelor. He's very healthy-looking, active, grooming constantly, and eating well. I have noticed a couple tiny mousie sneezes.
I know respiratory infections can take rodents quickly, should I medicate him before I get this show on the road? He may be a feeder breeder, but I want him to be healthy and happy!
