Ginger and Mary Ann are warming up to me.
I sit with them on my lap in the pen and they preen me and peck at the buttons on my shirt.

Oh pretty! I've always wanted a Brahma. It looks like they are happy!

Oh, also, I built them a coop (sort of). It's small, but there's only two of them; they seem to like it pretty well. I don't have pics of it yet, but I'll see what I can do. It's ugly anyway.

I'm glad; I just expanded it because........

I just got a pair of Maran chicks one cockerel and one pullet; they look wheaten (as best I can tell online). I'll get some pics and post them as soon as I can.

I lost the cockerel. The friend I got them from said he was probably just too stressed. Both of them were acting slow and kind of tired, so she's getting egg and garlic and oregano and fermented scratch grains, apple cider vinegar in her water. She's been separated for about three days and she's doing much better. I think I'm going to let her out in the morning to free range with the others.

I'll post pictures this weekend; have to get them in the computer.
