Thanks DuckGirl. What should I bring it up to at lockdown? I've read 70%, but there are some conflicting answers when I search it. 70% seems high! I don't want to drown the little boogers. We've made it this far.

Thats great! Are you keeping the babies? I have eight fertile eggs, one wasnt fertile so threw it away. they are hatching on november 10th I think.

I'm not keeping these. I sold them to a woman on some acreage. But I have 2 I put in a week later that aren't spoken for so I may hang onto those. I also have 4 eggs ready to go in. I have to be careful because I could see myself hatching to many! (I have a problem.)

I just had to throw out 2 that started forming and then stopped awhile ago. I hate that!

ETA: My 2 little eggs would be due to hatch shortly after the 10th so we'll be hatching buds on those too.

can both of yall get some candling pics? i incubat at 35-40% humidity. 50% seems a bit high. lockdown will be 65-70% more likly around the 65% mark. are yall both incubating duck eggs or chicken?
