to bad you don't live close to me, i have a very nice bulldog that can't bark and hates thieves, would let you keep her a few nights and what ever the predator might be,,it would not bother your chics again, and the dog loves chickens

safe chickens and inked thief...made me think of nick and the green slime they use. I would use a bucket for my toilet solids and use that. Then maybe they would stink AND get some kind of germs...

any updates? have you caught the 'predator' on camera yet?
( i have a lock on the gate to the gate to my chicken run! too many kids in the neighborhood...and I don't trust ANY of them!)

it seem there is not enough light in the coop to catch an image ...something set off the cam last night but all my chickens are still there I think they got restless last night and set off the motion sensor ...so we are still working out the bugs...

You could try putting a motion sensor light in there too. the light will go on, giving enough light to capture the image.

Leave a light on, if there's no light in there run to Walmart and get a set of tap lights, their cheep and battery operated. Leave them on till you catch your thief
