I have 2 White Rocks that I am really hoping are pullets. They are my ds' breed, that he picked out & if I have to get rid of one...well lets just say it ain't gonna be pretty

I'm hoping that maybe they are just growing at different rates. All of my (hopefully girls) are 6wks today. I also have a RIR that I held onto (was sent as a pp) that appeared to be different than all the roos I sent away. So, I held onto her/him in hopes maybe he/she is definitely a girl. Your expert advice, as always, is greatly appreciated

Who is going to help me fabricate a story, when I have to give the WR up? Bears?? Ran away to be with his mom?? Looking for a girlfriend?? CRAP-OLA

They're both boys. It's not just the combs, but the wattles are a dead-give away.

Here's our production red chick (hatchery RIR) at 7-8 weeks old - for comb & wattle comparison. Also, leghorns are notorius for large combs, but you can see that their wattles haven't started growing yet either.
