I think might be egg bound but not sure/help please.

Poor girl. Another warm soak then rest in a darkened place might be the way to go now. Maybe some Neosporin on that red bottom, for comfort if nothing else. Hopefully, some time in a darkened place will relax her so she can pass whatever is up there, and maybe send a signal not to lay another one for a while.

I'm no expert at all on this. There are lots of threads on here about eggbound. Have you checked out these two from the FAQ page? I see some different methods mentioned.

cleaned her but with warm water, seems to be sleepy in my arms wrapped in a towel. she should I put her back out with the flock?

Put her in a cage in the chicken house with hay on the bottom and covered her up. I gave her some water and some warm oatmeal with some yogurt. I will keep an eye on her for the day and try a warm bath again tonight before bed time.

Is the chicken house air conditioned? If not, I would advise putting her in a box inside the house in a dark closet. The darkness might help her to not produce anymore eggs. The heat is going to make things worse for her.

No air conditioning in the coop:( but it is not hot here, cloudy and 60F. Cool day and if I put a chicken in my home, when my husband comes home he would NOT approve.

Last hen I brought in our home he had a hissy fit and plunked it out side.
Flock is mine..as he always tells me.

I'm sorry to hear that he won't make an exception for a sick girl. You can put her in your garage and keep it dark, or even in a protected place outside with a towel draped over the cage to keep light out (just make sure there's a gap in the back for air circulation).

I would also give her antibiotics, most feed stores carry them for low level treatment.

Good luck, I hope she recovers!

I'm sorry about that. I have 2 in my house right now. One with a near heat stroke and the other one with wry neck. I had my heat stroke boy in a laundry basket, and husband didn't approve, he said he was cramped and needed some room to walk around. But, my husband loves the birds, and talks to them like they are his children. He loves this little boy in the house because he is a talker.

Well, at least it is cool outside, she will be just fine in 60 degree temps. That is cooler than my house

Your lucky to have such great temps, wish I wasn't in the triple digits.

Well so far so good

, she is quiet just standing, left the back of the cage uncovered but toward the back of the hen house for air circulation. Going to check up on her in about a hour. Will give a report on her progress then.

I've got one in my pantry room until her antibiotic course is over. Isn't that chicken smell magical in this heat?! lol! I'm glad I don't have a party planned
