Mozart my silkie cockeral is around 6 months old, I got him from the same breeder as the other 2 in the pic. Now as you can see he is fluffy like a silkie, got 5 toes, blue earlobes
But lately I've been noticing him next to my other silkies
He has actual feathers with some silkie fully, his tail is feathers and not fluff,
He has tan in him like my polish cockerel
He actually has the full face puff and beard I just trimmed it so he could see

What do you think is he mix?

Mozart is so handsome!!!!! I absolutely LOVE his plumage:love

Gosh dang, those birds are stunning! Is the one on the left a frizzled Polish (is that a thing)?
If the breeder has both Silkies and Polish, then it is a likely cross!

That very handsome guy in in the background is Floyd my polish frizzle
He is the top man on campus but never once has shown any agression to me, as a matter of fact he is quite the gentleman. Always protective of me.
My other guys including my very large Brahma are actually all very sweet bit have given me a peck or two now and then.

I also have given him a haircut so he could see so his hair would actually be much longer

Daphane is my sweet lady she is just a doll.

Mozart was my first silkie so I wasn't exactly sure if they shes should have some feathers like he does

Thanks :)

Thank you
He is the lowest on the totem pole and gets extra spoilage from me, he bites as he is nervous because he gets picked on
We are working on it and he is doing much better,
As soon as I picked him up he makes little noises and snuggles in my neck or lap

Definetly not pure Silkie. Polish/Silkie is certainly possible.

Thanks
I know she has other birds she breeds too not just chickens but she also has some other breeds of chickens too
I have 2 silkie baby mixes in my office. One looks like it is definitely part polish as she had the pompom on her head that has been noticable since she hatched
The other could be full silkie not sure yet
