They may not be stellar layers, but if/when she goes broody I'll bet you won't have to separate her from the flock. I think she could brood chicks in the middle of the freeway and semi trucks would go around her

BuckAlorp haha sort of a dyslexic "Asil"..."Alis"! She will now be officially known as Alice! It will be interesting to see my proud little roo try his moves on her.

donrae from what I'm reading I think you're right. Thankfully I have a large yard where I can keep my chickens "together but separate." I'm excited to see how she does!
