I think my rooster has stepped over the line!

Rooster discipline is possible, but it needs to be firm and consistent. I let my rooster hang around because my DDs are 6 and 8 and they are able to lay down the law with him. He has reduced my 8 year old to tears several times before she was able to set him straight.

My own opinion: 2 years old is too young to learn to dominate the rooster and would be too risky. Locked up roo or stew......

Dont tolerate a rude rooster, rehome him, or cook him. There are way too many sweet roosters out there that would give thier lives for your hens, be happy to eat treats, and love to sit in your lap to put up with a moment of rude roo behaviour!
