I think s/he is a roo

Definitely male specific feathering going on there in the saddle area. Sorry, if you were hoping for a pullet.
Not really. I was just seriously confused. Lots of rooster behavior until I introduced the adult rooster, who completely ignores him. I have never seen either of them challenge each other. I couldn't see roo feathering (easier to see in the stills) and I have never heard him crow.

I am fine with leaving him, although since I don't want him breeding with his sisters I may give him his own small flock. Not sure he could mate anyway, since most of his claws got frostbite.

That is good that you are okay with a rooster. Some junior rooster won't crow often. Sometime he will crow, but he generally won't crow before the senior rooster - they usually crow in order of descending rank.

Some roosters are just chill and don't mind another male as long as the junior male doesn't try to mate his hens.

Unless you keep them separated, you won't be able to choose who he mates. He will try his best to win over any girls. Hens choose their rooster. Most will only be his half sister anyway. It would take a long time of consistent inbreeding for any defects to show up. Chickens don't think like we do in terms of incest.

His lack of claws will not keep him from mating. He grabs their bodies with his feet and their neck with his beak. Lack of toenails will actually be easier on the girls. ,

This is going to be a breeding flock, so I want to avoid possible problems. If I keep him, it will be in a different area, with different hens.

I think I need to get his bachelor pad finished. He tried to mount a couple of the girls while I was out there tonight, grabbed their necks but couldn't hold on with his feet so he just got dragged as the pullets tried to run away from him. Then they ran to the older rooster and the little one pretended like nothing had happened. They don't like him.

Yes

Yes, his feet got frostbite. https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/frostbite.1558605/page-2#post-26437572

And if he's a Jersey Giant then the hatchery messed up AGAIN. I was supposed to get 3 BA's and 3 JG's. They all looked the same to me. Two of the 6 died within 24 hours so I had four left, and the hatchery hadn't banded the JG's as they said they would. The hatchery guy said that one of the dead chicks was JG. The remaining 3 are definitely JG. I bet they sent me 6 J G's rather than 3 of each.

That's one more in a long line of mistakes from that outfit.
What hatchery?
