I think "She" is a "He"? Can you tell?

We are WAY new to chickens, husband born and raised in the city, myself lived the last 20+ years in the city. Retired 6 years ago to the country, and last year decided it would be great fun to have chickens. Ordered 8 from mypetchicken in March, received them the first week of June. We had them sexed (and I know it is not an exact science except for certain breeds), but I am afraid we have at least one boy! Can you tell?

Is it the tail feathers that give it away? Just trying to learn.

Tail feathers are curley and legs look kind of thick but with EE and seeing its so young I woulnt be sure yet.

I'm not convinced it's a roo either. The pictures are very far away. Would need some closer pix and then even then, who knows for sure until you get an egg or a crow! I posted pix of some halfbreeds that I had hatched from my own flock. I was told that two of them were roos. Well they both lay eggs, so I guess the folks were wrong. Sometimes it's plainly obvious by the much larger, redder comb and wattles that appear before the pullets. And then later on you can tell by the hackle/sickle feathers that appear. And posting a pic of the chick in question with others of the same age/breed is useful for comparison.

The long neck and long, thick legs are a cursory clue it may be a roo. But hens can fool you and have secondary male characteristics, so until you see the first egg or hear the first real crow, you may not be able to tell for certain.

But my money's on it being a cockerel.

I'm soo disappointed...."she" crowed this morning when I was letting the "girls" out of the coop!!! It was very weak, but definately a cock-a-doodle-do!!! Now the question is, do we keep him/her or rehome him/her. We are going to wait a while to be sure, but I'm thinking BOY!!!
