I think TSC did it again. Barred rocks possibly all roos!

I got 3 barred rocks out of the pullet bin. They are 5 weeks old and one of them started crowing. Now since they all look alike to me. I'm here again asking for sexing help.

My pictures are not the best but hopefully you can still get a good look.
All their feet are pale yellow not dark like some of the posts I've seen.

The first one is a bit smaller and her/his wing was damaged. Of course it's the blurriest pics too.

One is for sure, I just have to catch him when he's crowing. It always seems to happen when they are in the coop and I'm walking away.

I have 5 br from them 3 1/2 years ago when still Del's but then when I was going to them again 3 of 5 where cockerel only after they bought Del's I hate tsc

Supposedly you can tell by the light spot on their heads. If the spot is well defined and doesn't extend to the neck it's female and if it's not well defined it's male. Don't know how true this is. Here are my 2 females as chicks.

Were they new arrivals when you bought them or maybe a week old and in an assortment bin of several types? I have a sneaking suspicion you bought the leftovers from a straight run bin.

They were new arrivals. They were in the pullet bin with Isa browns. I got three of them too. They were definitely not a week old when I got them. I should have taken more pictures. Let me see if I have any good ones of when I picked them up.

The fact that none of them have any color on their legs would have me concerned. There was an obvious difference in the ones I got this year from Cackle. I see you aren't all that far from me. The TSC I use in Batesville, has a BR pullet, and BR straight run bin. I suspect there may have been some confusion as to which chicks belonged where.

That happened to me too! Igot two BR pullets from Orschelns. One turned out to be a cockerel. I wondering, how many more were in there?
