I'm soo glad. I now had to Aracaunas and 6 RIR's
ordering more!

Ok i don't know how to say this without sounding mean. I don't mean it like that at all.

but, quite frankly, i don't care. I'm just glad i have something like this not stupid silkies. I love the olive green egg. Only 1 egg a day from the two of them though

I didn't mean anything by it, except to let you know what you have, since some folks do care. Not a thing wrong with Easter Eggers, have some myself. Be nice to see a picture of them in daylight when you get some.

I think it was a good trade myself. Don't care for Silkies.

I'm in the same boat as you. This Spring I bought two chicks solds as "Araucana" but they looked more like "Ameraucana", so I came to BYC and settled on calling them EEs. But I didn't care, I hadn't had chickens in over 20 years and I was just excited to have chickens again...I missed having them around. Love both of my EEs. Now if they would just lay some eggs!!

Congrats and enjoy!! They are very pretty.

I didn't really have problems. I liked the way they looked but they were a waste of space. They were PQ and i wanted something productive.
