I used to have this chicken, what was it?

    I got this hen, years ago, she was a sweet little girl, little she was, she was fluffy but had flat feathers with rounded ends like a bantam cochin, but smaller I think, and she had a crest, she was colored black and white pattern similar to a barred rock.
    Any guesses or pictures?

    Sorry, she had feathered feet too. She was not a polish, I have a silver laced polish defenetly not that, to big and not feather footed. I will look into some more actual pictures of birds of the Mottled Houdan, thank you!

    So I did a quick search

    She had less white more of a barred rock pattern.
    Also the feathered feet. I would say she layed a small off white egg?
    Not 100% sure as she was cooped with others.

    The only chickens that i can think of that have a crest, and feathered feet are silkies, and sultan. Where did you get her? Are you sure she was purebred?
