Here is my old buff hen ( RIP) and I think you should do more research. Come on over to the duck section and read a few threads and ask questions there.

Also - WHen a Duck Imprints on you (duckling) hen you are like the leader of the flock and they see you as "mama".
I also love my Buff ducks, they are great broodys, I have three Buff hens ( one is young), a young Blue Swedish hen, a Black Swedish hen, a Rouen hen, and a Blue Swedish Drake, the last time one of my buff ducks set, all but one of her ducklings were buff, one was blue, and I think my Buff Drake had already gone missing by then, so that would mean that the blue drake was the father of them. I don't if anyone is laying now, they all free range and sometimes I find a nest or random eggs that they layed in my walk way that morning, but if I find any eggs over the next few days, I could send you some but I can't say that they may not be from the Black Swedish hen or the Rouen hen.
Here is a pic of 4 of them, the Rouen hen in the back, a buff in the middle, then the Black swedish hen, and the Blue Swedish Drake.
It's going to be freakin hillarious if you do get her to hatch duck eggs and the babies have completly outgrown her in 3-5 wks.
