Babymakes5, YOU are the best! I live in town, and all my neighbors love watching my chickens run around. I have a lot of older neighbors who are nostalgic for the "old days." One is even begging me to keep a rooster for her to listen to! I'd like to raise Barred Rocks to have more traditional birds for them to enjoy.

I want the eggs because I lost aprox. 65 eggs my last time around in the incubator (I'm done incubating if I can help it) and yesterday I had to cull 3 little baby chicks

because they had curled feet and I couldn't get them straightened out.

I presently have 6 broody hens with 3 of them sitting on their behinds not doing nothing and they would really really love to be momma's.

That's why I would love Blue Barred Rock hatching eggs.

I want these because I love Plymouth Rocks. I have 1 white, 1 barred and 2 partridge. I want some in every color. They are bar far the BEST breed of chicken I have every owned. They are fat, sassy and quirky - yet friendly and inquisitive. I have been desperately searching for different color varieties... I would LOVE to add these to my flock and they would be dearly LOVED!!!

I recently posted a WTB: Silver Penciled Rocks and B/B/S Rocks - I will have the silvers on the way soon, hopefully, and this is excellent timing because i could set them together!!!

I want them because I am insane and cannot stop wanting baby chicks! In reality I have had the same chickens for 3 years. I ordered them from an hatchery 3 years ago and they do not quite fit breed standards.

Now I am wanting some quality chicks that look like they are supposed to when adults!

So i can taunt my husband (he's always saying im always hatching).... and help me keep the incubator on for another 21 days. Hahaha!

My husband doesn't get mad about it, he just thinks i'm crazy for having the incubator plugged in for about 4 months straight now...

p.s. my favorite color is blue. and surprise! i have no blue birds....

Last night I candled (Day 14) my BCM eggs that were shipped to me and not a single one of them are viable. I looked at my own 3 home grown eggs from my EE and BO mix and all three are filling up with chick. This was my first attempt at hatching shipped eggs and it appears that I'm going to fail.

I would love these eggs. I had barred rocks and just loved them. I really like the blues, but can't afford anything more right now. 5 kids puts a hold on alot of things mom wants. But I still love them. I would love to to get these.
