I want to adopt a duck and I need help

They were doing great today. It's raining, so,the weather is to their liking.

They are doing fine. We can't get them out of the rain. We are getting 5-7 inches this week.

So my son has been drying off Junie several times a day. He also fed them a whole bag of meal worms. Junie will eat treats out of his hand. We got some frozen peas yesterday.
The KC still prefers his mamas.
I love watching them in the water Last night they dug
themselves a small puddle and had a blast.

Nice to hear they have settled in so well. and are being spoiled. Mine love a good mud bath every once in a while. now it is dirt bath since we are in need of rain. So only the chickens are enjoying the dust.

So Peepers has turned into a chicken tormentor. If they are in her path, she will lunge at them. If they don't move fast enough she grabs them with her beak.

Everything else--the mess, the wasted food, mud--I can handle. But she needs to get nicer. I was out in the yard for more than n hour and corrected her when she was mean.

If you have any idea on getting her to be nice, please let me know.

My ducks will gab hold of a chicken if given opportunity I just let them work it out, actually some of my LF hens scare the ducks. My worst offenders are my geese I dif watch them around the rest of the flock. You could try putting something like the broom between them when Peepers goes after one, but you'll have to do it every time to be consistent I use a long pole to keep my geese from bulling my dogs when we're all out together.
