I want to convert to sand

This last post is kinda strange. Rats and sand? Who said anything about rats?

I changed the dirt part of the coop/run to sand. Love it. I buy tube sand sacks at home depot. It is a real coarse sand. I like it better than plain old sand. I fixed some hardware cloth to a piece of wood to use as a sifter to scoop the poop. I think the chickens have a contest going to see who can fling it the farthest out into the yard.

Mendozer said that her current dirt run had rats digging underneath the fence. I think I'll trythe sand thing too. Thanks
