You can remove them as early as day 1. I'd keep them for two weeks, that way they can get some feathers before their new home adopts them

Depends if you or the new owners are willing to provide heat and for how long. They'll need heat until at least 3-4weeks old if they aren't with a hen and longer if they are outside in cool weather. Otherwise people hatch eggs in incubators or order chicks from hatcheries that are a day old and raise them without a hen so it doesn't really matter what age.

The hen will start to "ween" them around 4 weeks of age. When they are fully feathered (around 5 weeks) they are usually on their own.
