I want to release my ducklings, share methods and opinions, please!

@Miss Lydia I did not realize you are a Carolina girl too! Awesome sauce.

To the OP.... Definitely reach out to people who could take them in. They will not survive if released. This is a time where momma duck teaches them ducky survival skills. They cannot fend for themselves. Check your local Craigslist farm and garden section, or other local farm sites for a new home for them. People are always searching for farm animals who could give them a good start in life. Also, make sure the starter you are giving them is not medicated. It can cause a world of problems for their bodies.
Another great piece of advice, thanks! It never even crossed my mind to try Craigslist. Hopefully, it won't come down to that since I was able to locate a few other rehabilitation centers I missed earlier, they might be able to take them in.

Their feed is a non-medicated formula, made 100% sure of that because I read about how bad it is for them to overdose on it. I appreciate the tip nonetheless!

Where at in Michigan are you? I live in Monroe county Michigan.
I don't like to give out too much information about my location, but I live 172.9 miles from Monroe County, MI, on the opposite side of the state.

If you were going to look up nearby rehabilitation centers, please don't trouble yourself, as I located a few others that might be able to take them in. The receptionist at a center I called told me that there were no places near me that took animals in unless they were injured, so I sorta panicked and overlooked some options when I searched for myself, heh. ^^;

I completely understand!!! No worries. I have done my fair share of research when I was trying to get adult ducks versus purchasing ducklings. Most of the rehab places are north of me like towards the Lancing area. Keep up the great job and I wish you the best of luck!!! I always like to help out a fellow Michigander when I can!

If you're on Facebook there is a group called Michigan duck exchange you can post too! The Michigan duck sanctuary will only take in injuries and dumped off ducks, but they might be able to help you find a rehab place, they are on Facebook too!

Edit: the two places I mentioned are separate places, each have their own Facebook group.

+ 1 for not letting thrm into the wild yet, you've gone this far, and need to finish the job. Sounds like you're on the right track. Thanks for looking after them and please update us when you get them sorted out!
It's an absolute pleasure taking care of them, I'll let you know how things turn out in the end.

"I always like to help out a fellow Michigander when I can!" That's great to hear, and thank you very much. I'll message both places and report back once everything is sorted out. Thanks again!
