The reason I mentioned White Wyandotte and White Plymouth Rocks was because the breeds, not necessarily the varieties, have intertwined histories. The same argument that you are making for Wyandottes and Chantecler.

Lol... nope. Your context was a White Plymouth Rock lookalike thrown from White Wyandotte parents. I wouldn't show a Partridge Wyandotte lookalike that happened to spring from my Partridge Chanteclers as a Partridge Wyandotte.
