Agree on the comb size/color but would expect to see some darker saddle/hackles by now

Not typically with Orpingtons, they are slower than most breeds to develop male specific feathers.

You guys are right some are different much darker than the others. Very red in color.

I would agree. I'm not getting a female vibe from them; that wattle development is suspect when compared to the rest of their body development. Especially that bird on the left in the first picture. I am far from certain, though; Orpingtons are not a breed I have experience with.

Some of their behavior definitely fits the suit ! Lol I finally heard a squeaky rooster call in the coop early this am. I almost did a back flip!! LOL

Update!!!!!
Just found out One of my Buff Orpington’s is a HE! I watched him watch all the hens hop out. He stood up proudly and crowed in front of me two times proudly for the first time

Orps are very slow to develop, I have several. Good example would be my SL Blue, she didn't lay till 38 weeks. I will have to agree with cockerels, looks about right at 4/5 months
