I was given some free fabric!!

One of my crochet club kid's moms brought me some pretty fabric and told me they were left-overs of hers. Three different chicken prints, some really pretty apple pattern fabric and some maroon/deep red solid color. She said it was left overs but there was the price sticker from Wal Mart in between the layers and that fabric has not been touched! It was $35 and 2 yards of 4 of them and 1 yard of one of them. That was so sweet!

Nice gift! I have a friend who buys things and then decides she won't use it and gives it away. Nice to be the recipient at times. ENJOY it!!

I'm thinking of trying a quilt, some of it is really pretty, the one chicken pattern is kind of,,,, I don't want to say odd, but it's got old fashioned stripes and white roosters in kind of a tan/white/maroon color,, I'll have to give it some thought!

I was looking at chicken fabric the other day at WalMart! I was thinking aprons. I work in a kitchen.
