I wasn't going to go through the trouble of brooding chicks again. Decided I'd just get pullets next time.

Well, that all changed (good thing hubby made me keep my supplies - "just in case", he said) this morning when

I learned that I can get Lavender Orpingtons chicks in February...

Lavender!! They look more silvery - blue, but still very, very cool...
