y'all......I have chicks coming in 4 weeks....I know I don't need any more.....my family would kill me.


I'm sure they won't mind some older sisters....besides, you have to consider that some might not make the trip.....I'm allowed up to 20 chickens...I only ordered 16....

Don't you want a wee little Chubs (yes, Chubs is its name) I got 8 chicks today and our TSC requires you to buy 6 chicks. This fat little chub makes me want to find more like it... It was the only one in the shipment!

I was only going to get the minimum of 6, but 8 slipped out of my mouth instead. I'm not even sorry about it I got a porcelain d'uccle, a silkie, a few mille Fleur d'uccles, and a few gold sebrights. I didn't know what the guy chose, but he chose well when I asked people to identify them on here.

Oh gosh, I've been saying the same thing for weeks now! Trying to convince myself to send someone else.

Ah yes though... I can't help but wonder what day do they mark down chicks to make room for the new ones? I have heard of some CRAZY low prices! Anyone know?

In all truth, though... they can hardly ever tempt me... already been there and done that with most breeds.

I did think for JUST a minute that I had become immune to chick cuteness (in other words exhausted and hardened from too many adventures)... but oh my, my heart melted and I'm in love again... with the Bielefeder chicks!

TSC has received a shipment of new chicks every day this week and still no Wyandottes. So I ended up coming home with 4 Campbell ducklings and 4 Golden Comet pullers.
Then Out of the 19 eggs that I had on the incubator I have had 11 hatch today and 4 more are cracked.

As soon as I heard the peeps, I started walking faster and my husband was trying to hold in his smile.

He promised if they had bantams, he'd let me pick as many as I wanted. Usually I can go and not want any, but I'm such a sucker for bantams now that I own 2.
