Why is this so true?? I went into TSC last fall to get some chicken feed and walked out of there with chicken feed and 7 more chicks lol. Couldn’t help it. Ours has a limit that you have to get 6 so we just went ahead and got 7 so I have an even 20

Lol same here I left with 6 required 4.... I couldn't pass up the rare lavender orpingtons... they had five so I got a black Orrington to make an even 6 should have gotten two of those.. lol

i understand completely. As of yesterday and until further notice, I am officially banned from going to TSC unattended ... not by the staff ... by my CHILDREN!

Its hard not to buy more chicks especially if you didn't get all the breeds that you wanted in early spring since the stores keep getting new chicks for several months Spring/Summer

I had been sending hubby to get the chicken feed to keep me away from the chicks, in our TSC, you have to walk right by them to get to the feed unless you want to walk the whole edge of the store. I was proud of myself, I went in, got my feed, stopped for a quick look and made it out without any. The next time though, chicken math struck and my hubby is a enabler..lol. I bought 4 and got out of there, was telling him what a good job I did. Was telling him about how there were only 3 of this particular breed left, he told me to go back and get them, of course you had to buy them in 4's..lol, so I walked out with 8 chicks, lol, I'm currently hatching my own.

Yes I saw that. I liked the fact that you can order a variety of different breeds of a certain type(rare, egg color, mixed breeds etc) and the actual breed you receive would be a surprise when you receive them. They were in quantities of 10 as well. You could also order one specific type breed as well. They have Lavender Orpingtons (10) for $60 straight run. I almost did that.
