DH has left for work.
I will sit here with my glass of lemonade.
I will sit for at least 10 minutes, more like 20.
I will not chase a puppy as he goes from chasing one cat to the other.
I will not stop the cats from playing on the bar, even if they are playing a little too close to my antique porcelain giraffes.
I will not go out to check on my isolated hen just one more time.
I will not go out to the coop to break up yet another nestbox fight.
I am going to sit here and drink my lemonade and I mean it!

Okay, so I did run out and shove both hens into the nestbox and told them to get over it!
Couldn't help it! Dagummit! They were making a racket!

Okay, so I got up to make that sandwich. While I was up I went ahead and checked on the isolated hen. That's not so bad, right?
ETA: and DH wonders why I talk to myself all day long.
