I'm a young fancier and getting some mates into it to we go up the field with the pigeons there's usually little kids around they ask can i hold them and that stuff and most didn't even know you could keep pigeons and allot of my friends are intrested in them does anyone actually still have people around them that has pigeons there was 3 of us in one tiny estate one was a old time flyer that actually gave me nest fronts a bath and bob traps for free he one a race from Ireland to France the other one was a little younger than me he got rid of them because of his dad and know there's only me and I only know 3 fanicers so the sport is dying out I would rather pigeons than a laptop or a playstation I hope it doesn't die out I want some one to race

Do not come to New Brunswick Canada looking for a resurgence in the sport. It is a dying sport here (I do not think it was ever born in New Brunswick).

I know the Queen of England has pigeons and there are still races being held in Britain.

Sometimes the more things change the more they stay the same.

Pigeon racing may make a resurgence in your life time Aaron.

There is still hope!.

i hope there is if there is one person that still has pigeons theres always hope everyone just wants to play games and be on the internet all day i rather the pigeons

i read something there and it is saying there is 15,000 lofts in the usa registered with racing and about a million flyers i thought it was dying out in america i hope it turns around like the days when my grandfather raced

Im trying to do my part, as most good old time fliers seemed to have had to get out or passed on, but just what was just supposed to be test nestlings from what thought horrible pair, as male seems really old (wouldn't doubt he is at least ten and thought he'd be sterile by now), and female bad quality looking (previous owner bred for looks for white dove release but mostly just let them breed locked up in shed ect. the young that let raise just to see if could ect, are huge strong heavily muscled birds though! i took them out to test stretch wings and practice balance and perching on me, and not even fully feathered in yet they just took off and started flying around and going from roof to roof and tree to tree ect. finally caught after about half hour when they started panting suddenly and they were just stopped in tree. their wing or anything else weren't even tired

Makes me wamt to breed the old man to my fast strong and agile hen in flock, before give this pair to promised home (he is busy setting up his champion rollers young currently but eager to try his hand at the white racers too now).

i got my first pigeon transport box and it was raining i went under a tree for a minute and a mam and 2 little kids asked what was it for and i said pigeons they said why and i had a pigeon with me in the basket and they went i heard them on the way up the road saying to there mam can i get a pigeon hopfully they might just remember that moment and some day get pigeons and there is actually a lot of kids where i get my pigeon supplies getting pigeons i seen about 5 kids my age getting pigeons maybe its not dying after all
