I woke up to snow...

it stopped and started to melt... but now its starting up again !! yayayayayaya!!!!!

Come visit me, anytime in the next couple of weeks. its -30 out now with windchill, I just went back out to fill up water buckets. I have a dang HOLE in my boot - so my big toe HURTS! I wore 3 jackets, two pairs of pants, a neck gator over my nose and mouth, a knitted cap, ear muffs and the hood of one jacket over that. And my son's gloves.

(I don't have good winter gloves, my gloves are silly little leather things that do NOTHING in this weather)

Actually I would be happy with a few days of snow keep our temps here at the 20-40 they have been. Where do you live Wildsky? SIBERIA???

Wow, bummer. when we get snow, it USUALLY lasts over night and then melts before the next evening. we did have one winter in 2004 that snowed for three straight days. that was FUN!

I just moved my 20 sheep and 2 llamas into the barn. My ears nearly froze off, but they are appreciating the hay and shelter. Caroline made me a nice hot cup of tea, too, when I got back in.

Well we went up in the hills to play for a few hours. I got some good pics of the dogs/daughter-will try to post some later. It was pretty deep there-guessing 8-10" and it was perfect powder blend that stuck togather but was fluffy. When we came back to town, all the snow was pretty much melted.

I'm not looking forwad to the morning, I'm supposed to drive 40 minutes to a dental appt. at 8am. As terrie said, we are supposed to freeze hard tonight, so all that melted snow will be an ice rink. If I cancel, they will charge me for the visit-not sure what to do-ug.

Shmoo~ I miss you too~ We have to get together on your break-you up for a Tuesday trip to the auction?
