I would like a Black Friday for men...

Now we're talking about some really exciting Christmas gifts.

Lumber (any kind, any size... we'll build something)
Nails....the more the merrier.
Power tools...This is a MUST. Never enough. Even extension cords, so we can roam further.
Duct tape....No house is complete without duct tape. Wife and I ever get divorced, I want the duct tape.
Cross ties...Just the thing to play with.
Rope, chains...we can tie it up, drag it around. Show it to our friends.

Santa is gonna need a bigger sleigh this year.

*Spook needs about six nice wagon wheels. And a hay wagon. Oh...and a few piles of new dirt, some stone.

Hello!!! I'm all woman,

My ideal of shopping is going to the following, Tractor Supply, Seminole Feed, all and any Tack Shop, Ace, Lowes, Home Depot, and all farmers market and chicken swaps. In any order.

Only go to the grocery store once a week or less. Hate Wal-Mart and the like, hate clothing shopping. If could grocery shop on-line I would.

I was eagerly awaiting the Home Depot Black Friday ad.

Alas...lots of stuff, but nothing that is going to force me to run down there! I might stop for a few poinsettias at .99 but only if I am in the area (okay I live in the area)

Oh man, I had too many railroad ties, and it was just a few! The dump charges $$$ to dump them and I really did not want them in the garden. That and telephone pole sections...what is up with guys saving those! Oh well..some day I will have those beasts out!

Lowes and HomeDepot have great sales 'after' Thanksgiving. However, the hubby shopped in his own way. He went on line and ordered what he wanted from those two places. His stuff is expected to arrive around Dec. 3rd. Low prices and FREE SHIPPING! What every man dreams of!

I talked the Missus to going with me to Harbor Freight for tool shopping (cost me a lobster dinner afterwards) and she was astounded at all the Men there coupon shopping like myself with coupons from the mailed flyer. She said it looked like her quilt club at a fabric sale. (Darn if she didn't throw some ceramic knives and magnetic holders in my cart)
