Could it be.... umm, umm.... groceries? No, not that. Could it be.... a money order? No, no that either. Okay I give up. Just have to wait.

I HATE WAITING! OH! maybe it's chicken seeds?

On the other side, Miss E., is doing better. What was out is now back in and she looks better too. Not all neck pulled in and fluffed up. I did giver her a nice soothing bath today after I washed the other chickens for the show. Got all the poo off her bottom. She did not like it but she tolerated it. I think the bantam dellie roo loved his spa! He just closed his eyes and lolled about as if he were on a floty thing in a swimming pool! He will probably hate me later today. I need to clean my glasses. Some of the birds don't take as kindly to their day spa......

Could you mail me the serama girl? She is very pretty...

I took some pictures of this coop for sale at the feed store today. Gonna have to build me one over the winter for the seramas. Dont think it will be super hard - just need to work on deminsions first.

Just letting everyone know next spring I am wanting a RIR roo I think. I don't know whether to get him as a chick and raise him with the new pullet chicks I am getting or get one a little older. For me I want egg production so I am planning my flock accordingly. I want one rooster and I have decided for now this is the way I am going to go. I also plan to get some Barred Rocks, RIR's, Australorps, Sussex, Delaware and Americana's. With them and my RIR roo I can breed BSL's, RSL's, RIR and I can have some other crosses that would still be good egg producers. There may be a couple more breeds I am going to try but these are the main ones right now.
