ARGH!! Coyote got two chickens last night! I am so bummed. It got my Black Copper Marans and my young Australorp who looked like a maybe-rooster. Sigh. I am pushing for our new giant coop to be built now, instead of waiting until spring like the hubs wants.

You may have to go back to the store where she sent it and look in their log book. All items sent UPS automatically have a tracking number attached. if you can provide me with the name of the place it was sent from, I will handle it.

That is too bad. Of course they like the poultry for a different reason sometimes.... Did the coyote do any damage or break in? Do you think you have a pack of those nasty things in the land around you?

Anyone heard from Lisa or Trish? Seems they have both dropped off the radar.

Have booked the flights, made the hotel and resort reservations, and we are good to go for another excursion to the FL Keys. Flying out of Omaha on Valentines day and will be back in Omaha on the 23rd.

My wife posted this comment on Facebook a couple days ago in response to her sisters comment about having to put on her big girl snowpants to dig out in Portland, Maine.
"My husband is ready to trade in his big boy snowpants for a thong, straw hat and an umbrella drink! GOD help us all!"

The straw hat and umbrella drink yes, the butt floss... uh not quite me nor would I want to expose the rest of the world to that injustice! I am afraid people would be wanting to push the whale back in the water!
